Walk Up Mount Snowdon

September 28, 2019

Go Dharmic will be organising a fundraising event to climb this beautiful mountain, costs to join the walk are £60 per person which includes one night stay in Idwal Youth Hostel.

Go Dharmic – Snowdon Challenge – 2019

The Go Dharmic 2019 Challenge is climb Mt Snowdon, the highest peak in Wales. At an elevation of 1,085 metres above sea level, Snowdon is the highest point in the British Isles outside the Scottish Highlands. It is located in Snowdonia National Park in Gwynedd.

There are 6 routes to the top and depending on the weather and our fitness, we will finalise the exact route nearer the event. They are all classed as ‘hard, strenuous walks’ and you should allow at least 6 – 8 hours to get there and back.

Mountains are fickle things. What starts off as a sunny day at the bottom can rapidly turn into ice-cold winds, heavy rain and thick mist halfway up. There is usually a chilly breeze at the summit – welcome on a hot day, but not quite as pleasant in the rain. Be prepared for drastic changes in the weather and have the right kit with you.

For registration

To join the walk follow the Eventbrite where you will be able to make payment. Once payment is made you will receive a registration form from ajay@godharmicstag.wpenginepowered.com
