Peace Letter: Standing Against Violence in Bangladesh

Mass violence in Bangladesh following political unrest. With over 400 lives lost, Go Dharmic calls for peace

Standing Against Violence in Bangladesh

Following the recent political turmoil and the removal of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, many in Bangladesh have experienced targeted violence, including murders and the destruction of temples.

Tragically, more than 400 people have lost their lives since the protests began. We strongly condemn these acts of violence in Bangladesh and urgently call for all of those in Bangladesh to be protected.

We have received direct reports of many Hindu families whose homes have been ransacked, and at least two temples have been destroyed.

At Go Dharmic, we believe that all life is sacred and of incomparable value.

All killings must stop and the violence must end. Our mission is to “love all, feed all, serve all.”

Call for Urgent Action!

It is imperative that governments and the international community take immediate action to safeguard the rights and lives of all citizens, ensuring peace and security for everyone.

We must implement effective measures to stop the immediate violence and address the underlying causes of these atrocities.

Go Dharmic’s operations team is currently reviewing the situation and assessing how best to offer humanitarian aid.
