How are you celebrating this Giving Tuesday?

On November 30th, we will be celebrating Giving Tuesday. Supported by people such as Michelle Obama and Malala, Giving Tuesday is a day when people come together to support good causes worldwide. You can get involved by volunteering, campaigning, donating money or food, and anything else you can think of to help people. One of the easiest ways to get involved with Giving Tuesday is to help a charity.

Go Dharmic is committed to a wide array of campaigns meaning there are many ways you can help us. For example, our Feed Everyone campaign aims to distribute hot food at sites across the country. We’ve served over five million meals, and with your help, by volunteering or donating food, we can do more.

For a more hands-on role, Our Shape-A-Future campaign aims to build libraries that can help one million children by 2026. If you know of a school that needs redevelopment or a new library, we can help you find the funds to make it happen. If you want to challenge yourself, you can raise money through a fundraising project. Some volunteers have cycled from Ahmedabad to Dandi to raise money, whilst Barry Goudriaan ran a marathon across Mount Everest.

Our Go Green campaign aims to work against the effects of climate change through direct action and raising awareness. One way we are doing this is by planting one million trees to tackle deforestation. You can support this cause by donating to us or pledging to grow a tree yourself. We also raise awareness of the positive effects of a plant-based diet as well as going fuel-free. Simple changes like these can have a positive impact on the environment.

From the 6th to the 8th, of March 2022, Go Dharmic will be attempting to fundraise £1 million in 36 hours. This money will go towards our many campaigns, helping those in need in the UK, India, and Nepal. All donations for this fundraiser will be matched during the 36 hour period. One way you can help us reach this £1 million goal is by donating during the event or becoming a match funder. You can also help by becoming a Champion and raising awareness of our fundraiser among your family, friends, and colleagues.
