A few months ago, in one of our blog posts, we communicated to our readers that Go Dharmic is committed to developing a regional headquarters in India which would help us in furthering our mission of sustainable and holistic development of the society.
It gives us immense pleasure to announce that the team at Go Dharmic has been successful in setting up and operationalizing its new India HQ in the city of Ahmedabad in India.
Ahmedabad city, located in the western state of Gujarat has many accolades to its credit. Besides being the hub of all commercial activities happening in the state, it has the rare distinction of being the UNESCO accredited World Heritage City. It is also developing a SMART city by building state-of-the-art civic infrastructure for its people. India’s first International Financial Services Centre, GIFT city, being envisaged as one of the top three emerging Global Financial Services centers is taking shape as a satellite town of Ahmedabad. We are equally excited to be entering into a new partnership with GIFT city, for which an announcement shall soon follow.
We are very optimistic and confident that our new office will be a center to nurture the vision and mission of Go Dharmic ‘Compassion in Action’ for which our team and volunteers are relentlessly working towards. The team will be focused on developing social action campaigns globally whilst working to deliver on our current short term goals. We have a target to reach 50 completed libraries by the end of this year and will be working closely with our partners Futures First to achieve this end.
