GD’s philosophy is ‘love all, feed all, serve all’. We hope to inspire positive social action around the world and to be a force for good. For many years the GD team has been serving society by various means: feeding thousands of meals to the homeless; developing more than 75 school libraries for the poor; relieving eyesight and much more. We support compassion for all living beings, be that people, plants or animals.

In March we set up a phone line in response to the Coronavirus pandemic. Our GD volunteers started delivering meals to hospitals and vulnerable people in London and Luton. The GD team were humbled by the number of volunteers who banded together within weeks. Some have been dedicating 12 hours a day to help people whose lives are dramatically impacted due to this crisis. We’ve also been lucky to partner with other charities, local restaurants and caterers to expand our reach.

Our ability to serve has quickly spiralled due to the generous donations of many individuals and companies. We have expanded our efforts to distribute more than 500,000 meals across many global locations. We have distributed over 349,500 meals to 73 locations across 12 states in India. In Africa, we have delivered 21,000 meals to the slums of Orile in Lagos, Nigeria and 3000 meals to families living in the Atlas Mountains, Morocco.

GD volunteers are further inspired having received support from Kapil Sharma, Harbhajan Singh, Arjun Rampal, Shreyas Iyer, Raghvendra Rathore and Krishna Das to name a few.

Kapil Sharma said: “In India, they [Go Dharmic] are working in Mumbai, Punjab and other places. They are helping the destitute, orphans, homeless and those who are struggling to eat. You can also be a part of the good work Go Dharmic is doing.”

Arjun Rampal in a YouTube video asked more people to come forward. He appealed to everyone to help Go Dharmic achieve the goal of feeding one million people in India.

Founder Hemal Randerwala said: “If there ever was a time for us to serve humanity it is now. We now have the opportunity to help people in dire need and I request you to join us by volunteering or donating.”

“Without the support of people like you, we couldn’t hope to achieve so much in helping a patient to feel safe and cared for. Our patients are some of the most vulnerable with coronavirus presenting a real threat to their lives”
