A fantastic partnership where staff are directly supporting their students. This is a chance to make a difference for many families – Come, be a part of it!

By doing what you love, you inspire and awaken others the hearts of others. It is said that a teacher can really inspire and touch the lives of their students and motivate them to become better individuals. Without a good teacher, life would have no class. One of the biggest qualities of a teacher is compassion – for their students, for education and for society. And, in these unprecedented times, compassion is a virtue which is imperatively needed.

With the aftermath of Covid-19 in the background, the compassionate teachers of The Shared Learning Trust have partnered with Go Dharmic for distributing food kits to families of their own students affected by the Coronavirus lockdown. With this partnership, they have been able to provide food kits to over 900 families in the past 10 weeks. An average food pack consists of basic necessities like pasta, milk, biscuits, vegetables, cereal, tea, bread, and sauces. These food kits have made a tremendous impact to the school children and their families.

For the sustainability of the project, The Shared Learning Trust has made a financial contribution to Go Dharmic and has also launched a Payroll Giving Scheme for staff members who wish to help support our families. So now apart from imparting knowledge to students, the teachers will also provide incredible support to families by donating a part of their income through our Payroll Giving Scheme.

Each food kit costs £6 and feeds a family for at least a week. The employees who contribute £12 a month will help feed two families a week and make an incredible impact.

If these wonderful teachers can do it, so can you!

If you are a business owner, you can introduce a payroll giving scheme for your employees with us and help feed the vulnerable. If you are an employee, you can urge your management to introduce the scheme for all the employees. It will really create a great opportunity to implement and practice Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
