Go Dharmic Founder receives Points of Light Award from UK PM

We are thrilled to share that on the 8th November 2023, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak honoured Go Dharmic’s Hanuman Dass and Sheena Randerwala with the Points of Light Award at 10 Downing Street.

This accolade is not just a recognition of their individual dedication, but stands as a collective celebration of the entire Go Dharmic team, volunteers, and partners.

It is a resounding testament to the transformative power of compassion, especially significant during the auspicious season of Diwali.

Go Dharmic has achieved profound milestones, creating more than 50 GD communities worldwide working towards meeting the UN’s sustainable development goals.

Together, we have distributed over 22 million free meals to vulnerable families, supported over 107 schools, and offered disaster relief at over 180 locations.

Through our visionary “Dharma Forest” project, we have planted over 250,000 trees across the Sundarbans and had thousands of volunteers donating their time and effort to create a more compassionate world.
