GD & Estee Advisors partners for Ration Kits distribution Banner

It is never too late to reach out to people, especially the ones in need of utmost care, protection and compassion! And, in these unprecedented times, compassion is a virtue that is truly needed. With the aftermath of COVID-19 in the background, Go Dharmic, in collaboration with Estee Advisors has committed to help the poor and the underprivileged families in Gurugram and Gandhinagar in India by distributing ration kits to over 1,000 families. The partnership forms part of Go Dharmic’s commitment to helping underprivileged people who have been hard hit by the COVID 19 lockdown. During this unparalleled and unprecedented moment in time, we wish to continue to do everything we can to help the vulnerable and those in isolation whilst taking sensible measures to increase the effectiveness of social distancing.

This effort will ensure that the communities have enough daily necessities to last up to 15 days for a family of 4. The distribution is scheduled to take place on 6th March 2021 and will benefit at least 1,000 families of daily wage earners and slum dwellers (500 in Gurugram and 500 in Gandhinagar) with over 1,50,000 meals worth of ration kits.

The endeavour is in line with Go Dharmic (GD)’s goal to help feed the vulnerable across India by providing rations of daily food staples such as wheat flour, lentils, rice, salt, spices and vegetables. The project in India is part of a global effort to inspire and motivate individuals and companies to give up their time and talent to help the most vulnerable people in our communities get through the pandemic by providing food relief. In the short time since we have delivered over 2.5 million meals across more than 70 locations across India.

Hemal Randerwala, Founder & Chairman, Go Dharmic, said “Go Dharmic is delighted to partner with the Estee Advisors and this collaboration will enable us to extend our reach. These are unprecedented times and we have a larger humanitarian responsibility to address the needs of the less privileged and less fortunate sections of the society, targeting those most affected. Estee and its employees share GD’s mission and motto of “Love all, Feed all, Serve all” and are conscious of their role as a member of the community during this pandemic. We are thankful for their efforts in bringing much-needed relief to the ones most in need.”

Commenting on the collaboration, Sandeep Tyagi, Chairman, Estee Advisors said, “We are happy to be expanding and repeating the food distribution program with Go Dharmic. We recognize that while COVID impacted all, our technology-based business could sustain remotely while many people were impacted much more.”

Rakesh Kaul, Director, Estee Advisors added, “Right to Food is the most fundamental of all rights. India ranks 102 out of 117 in the Global Hunger Index 2019 and COVID has only worsened an already terrible situation. In leading this heartfelt mission to Eradicate Hunger in India, Go Dharmic is following the cultural duty that donating food is the greatest contribution of all.
