Go Dharmic launches a new campaign encouraging people to share their acts of kindness and inspire others

It all starts with one Smile! Be the reason for someone’s smile!

Kindness is contagious. It is not defined by lofty stories; rather it exists all around us and needs to be celebrated at every moment of life!

The need to give back to society is a fundamental predisposition in human beings, who are inherently kind. Whether it’s making someone smile, helping a stranger out, showing up for an issue you care about, or giving some of what you have to those who need our help, every act of generosity counts and everyone has something to give. Celebrate generosity!

Be a part of our global kindness community and help make the world a kinder place, promote a culture of peace and empower individuals/communities to take personal/community ownership/stewardship of critical local issues all the way up to global goals! Your act of kindness is powerful and transformative!

Acts of Kindness campaign aims to mobilize people to carry out transformative acts of kindness and create a positive culture of kindness, where your selfless act matters. Share your positive stories of change, driven by compassion, care and kindness in a world characterised by rising intolerance, apathy, indifference, social exclusion, fear and climate change.

It’s time to celebrate Kindness for self, others and the planet, and share with us a simple act of kindness that you performed- a generous, deliberate gesture or action. These acts can range from mobilising a community drive to save an endangered species, donating some blankets for a cause, or organizing a beach clean-up, working on clean energy projects or campaigning against gender inequality.

As a growing movement for individual and social change, we are constantly looking for ways to support more people in our community. Recently our team member, Sahil Jackson donated his laptop, desktop computer and printer to one of our libraries in Rajasthan, in an endeavor to connect more people to the internet and support their educational and job training aspirations. With an uncertain 2021-2022 school year anticipated to contain enhanced distance learning options compounded with increased job insecurity, laptops and other computer related equipment are needed now more than ever. The donated devices have become an important lifeline to student achievement, job attainment, and skill development in the library. We were elated to hear this as it goes to show that we are serving our community members on a professional and personal level, helping bridge the digital divide and connect with more people globally.
