Libraries are essential cornerstones of a healthy society.

The future of any country depends on the quality of education instilled in the younger minds. It depends to a great extent on how a school stimulates curiosity in the young impressionable minds and equips them with tools to be better human beings to deal with all the ups and downs that life throws at them. The social, mental, physical, and overall development of a person in the initial stages of life is dependent mainly on schools, parents, and teachers.

Giving a child quality education has several advantages, but in our country, lack of resources is a significant deterrent. Not everyone can afford it, and herein lies the importance of community libraries. Libraries are essential cornerstones of a healthy society. They give people the opportunity to find jobs, explore, research, experience, get lost in beautiful stories, plays, dramas, etc. As gateways to knowledge and culture, libraries play a fundamental role in communities. The resources and services provide creative opportunities for learning, support literacy, and education, and help shape the new ideas and perspectives central to a creative and innovative society. They play a crucial role in safeguarding the world’s cultural and scientific heritage. Go Dharmic with its Shape a Future campaign plans to do just that. Millions of children around the world, especially girls, grow up without immediate access to quality education.

There are thousands of schools with deplorable facilities, no books for leisure reading, no sports equipment, no games, and no furniture. Our Shape a Future campaign aims to open libraries around the country to help underprivileged children get access to books and reading materials that they cannot procure for their education. It is our mission to develop libraries to help 1 million children around the world by 2026. Our learning spaces are bright, fun, comfortable rooms which the children can call their own. This is one of our most extensive campaigns yet, and we are on target to help 40,000 children by 2022.

The core mission of any library is to help and assist readers in improving their lives and working on elevating their situations. To make the world a better place to live for everyone, we all need to provide resources for those who cannot afford them.
