‘SPORT FOR GOOD’ CHARITY DINNER 2019

We will proudly be hosting the Sport For Good Charity Dinner 2019 with Northamptonshire County Cricket Club. It will be an evening of fundraising, whilst sparking invigorating conversations and networking within the sporting industry.

The evening will consist of a delicious vegetarian Indian banquet, an auction, entertainment, and talks from inspiring individuals.

Where is it?

The evening will be held at Northamptonshire County Cricket Club in Northampton, where the team’s first match was played in 1905, and they continue to play at to this day!

When is it?

The dinner will take place on Friday the 8th of November. Registration will begin at 7 pm and the event will commence at 7.30 pm, it will continue until 12 am.

Why are we holding the event?

Barry Goudriaan, Head Physiotherapist at Northants Cricket for the last 16 seasons, has been supporting Go Dharmic for many years now and has worked closely with us for many of our annual cricket days. On December the 2nd he will attempt to tackle the Original Everest Marathon in Nepal, which is considered to be one of the highest and toughest challenges in the world!

Barry has begun his fundraising campaign, and all the money raised from the Charity Dinner will go towards his fundraising target of £5000.00

Barry has chosen our campaign, ‘Shape a Future’ where we develop libraries and classrooms in underfunded schools in some of the most remote areas in India, Nepal, and South Africa. All of the money raised will go towards this campaign.

Who will be there?

Pete Nuttall will host the evening. Pete has been the stadium announcer at many of the events at Wembley Stadium and Manchester United games. He is currently the matchday stadium announcer for the Northampton Saints at Franklin Gardens and during the T20 Blast matches of the Northampton Steelbacks at The County Ground.

Cricketing legends Monty Panesar and Devon Malcolm will also likely be attending, along with a number of other sporting personalities and public figures.

There will also be some current Northamptonshire County Cricket Club players and individuals and companies in the sports industry who are interested in networking and doing some good!
